Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.

The three, all members of the Navy’s elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called a captain’s mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.

Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named “Objective Amber,” told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.

Are you kidding me this what these guys are supposed to do, If these guys get convicted of any crime then we are just going to open a huge mess of crap. Every damn terrorist and there mother is going to sue the military, I say make an example out of the terrorist. Cut his damn throat then he will have a lot more to worry about then a bloody lip, He is a terrorist he deserves what he got he should be lucky with just a bloody lip i would have killed him.

Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers.

These guys are hero’s in my mind and thats the way it should be in everyone else’s eyes, They are doing the job that they were supposed to do. Capture a terrorist and that is what they did keep the laws of america out of this and let them do what they are supposed to do. The military as well as these guys are trained to complete there objectives and that is just what they did the package arrived so what it was damaged a little in shipping but it got there.

These guys are praised by me just for the capture of the terrorist scum bag now kill him and catch another, Put me behind a rifle and i will be a one man firing squad. No Remorse for a terrorist would it be different if it was local?

These guys should be Rewarded

– Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class (SO-2), is facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.

– Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe, SO-2, is facing charges of dereliction of performance of duty and making a false official statement.

– Petty Officer Julio Huertas, SO-1, faces those same charges and an additional charge of impediment of an investigation.
